Michael Putich, CPA - Partner
Michael is President of Robinson Grant & Co. and manages the Bluffton/Hilton Head offices. He oversees the company’s assurance services, including audits and reviews; tax preparation and planning; and provides advice and direction to many of the firm’s clients.
He began his public accounting career in Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked for 5 years for a large regional firm before moving to Bluffton, SC. Michael has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and completed his accounting education at Cleveland State University. Michael passed the CPA exam in 1997 and obtained his certificate in public accounting in 1999.
Michael has given back to his profession by serving on the boards, as well as various committees, for both the South Carolina Association of CPAs and the South Carolina State Board of Accountancy. He served as Chair before coming off each board. In addition, Michael has given back to his residential community where he has been very active in church service and serving in leadership roles – including President of the Rotary Club of Bluffton. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Bluffton/Hilton Head Chapter of the Council of Estate and Financial Advisors, Inc.
Michael and his wife, Monica, have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. In addition to spending time with his kids and grandkids, he enjoys fishing and date nights with his wife.
Kendall Erickson, CPA - Partner
Kendall is an experienced and seasoned CPA and our Robinson Grant & Co. PA Chairman of the Board. He has been with our firm since 1990 and previously served as a Senior Accountant and Manager. Kendall’s background in taxation and audit as an IRS agent and South Carolina Department of Revenue auditor makes him a perfect example of the comprehensive, firsthand experience we bring to our clients.
Kendall is a well-respected leader in our firm and in our community. He has served his church, St. Peter’s, in various ways over the years including Finance Chair, Lector, Youth Minister, Priest’s Liturgical Committee and President & Vice President of the Beaufort Knights of Columbus. He supports many local non-profits with his time and expertise also. As a member of Sea Island Rotary since 1990, Kendall has served on the Board of Directors, is past Chair of the Interact Committee, International Exchange Committee, Membership Committee and Treasurer. Additionally, Kendall has volunteered as a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Club of the Lowcountry, United Way Board Chair and Campaign Chair, Beaufort Housing Authority Commissioner and with the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce as Board Chair and Treasurer. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
Kendall has been married to Shannon S. Erickson since 1983. They are blessed with a daughter and son-in-law, Mariah and Randall, three grandsons, Wilson, Smith and Walker, as well as a son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Katie.
On his off time, Kendall enjoys family time, boating, scuba diving, fishing and travel.
